Jeypore College of Pharmacy joyfully celebrated Shri Krishna Janmashtami, a vibrant cultural and spiritual festival commemorating the birth of Lord Krishna. The event served as a platform to blend devotion, tradition, and creativity while instilling cultural values among students. The celebration was marked by spirited performances, devotional recitations, sacred rituals, and engaging competitions that highlighted the significance of Lord Krishna’s teachings and their relevance in today’s world. The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of Director Dr. Priyambada Sarangi and Principal Dr. Satyabrata Jena, along with faculty members and students.

The central theme of the Janmashtami celebration was “Bhakti, Culture, and Creativity”, reflecting the essence of devotion and the richness of Indian heritage. The event emphasized the importance of inculcating moral values, unity, and cultural pride through traditional festivities and student participation.

The two-day celebration commenced on 12th August 2025 with a series of cultural programmes including solo songs, solo dances, group dance performances, and Bhagavad Gita recitation, where students showcased their devotion and artistic skills. This was followed by a prize distribution ceremony to honor winners of various competitions.
On 15th August 2025, the celebration continued with a Havan ceremony conducted within the college premises, invoking divine blessings and creating a serene spiritual environment. The programme concluded with Prasad Sevan, where all students, faculty, and guests came together in fellowship and devotion.

National Youth Day (12th January-2023)

India celebrates national youth day on January 12th .This date was chosen to honor the birthday of swami Vivekananda, one of the India greatest spiritual and social leader. On this day Jeypore College of pharmacy conducted youth day by organizing a meeting at B2 class room. On this day we organized HAR GHAR DHYAN PROGRAM, The program started by lightning the lamp and offering flowers to swami Vivekananda photo, then the program continued with some good thoughts about swami Vivekananda and on the program of HAR GHAR DHYAN session, a teacher from the ‘Art Of Living’ group was invited on the occasion of youth day to motivate our students. Students to engage themselves in good health and education and also to equip themselves with meditation practices for improved health and wellness. The session also includes meditation and mental health for students as well as the staff from all walks of life. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by program coordinator maam Mrs.Manasi khadanga .
