Event Overview

Jeypore College of Pharmacy, under the patronage of Banagiri Development Trust, celebrated the International Day of Yoga on 21st June 2025. The event took place at the college auditorium (JCP) and was organized by the Event Management Committee & IQAC of the institution.

Theme

The chosen theme for this year’s celebration was:

“Yoga for One Health, One Earth”

This theme underscored the importance of yoga not only for personal wellbeing but also for fostering holistic health and ecological harmony across the planet.

Key Highlights

• Chief Guest: Mr. Nilakantha Majhi, an experienced Yoga Instructor, graced the occasion as the chief guest. His expertise contributed greatly to enriching the event.

• Chief Convenor: Dr. Priyambada Sarangi, Director, led the organizing team, ensuring smooth coordination and impactful activities.

• Convenor: Dr. Satyabrata Jena, Principal, provided strong guidance and support, emphasizing the integration of yoga into daily life for students and staff.
